We helped Essex and Herts Air Ambulance connect with their supporters and inspire more local people to donate and discover additional ways to support.

Having worked with Essex and Herts Air Ambulance for four years – initially with copywriting before leading to photography and graphic design – we not only understand their mission and the charity’s impact across Essex and Hertfordshire but we’ve met some of the inspirational patients who want to give back, and help the charity raise more awareness. The ‘Moments Made’ campaign was born out of this genuine connection with patients. By placing patient voices at the heart of our ads, we’ve been able to authentically highlight real experiences, creating powerful emotional connections with the community.

From direct mail and postcards to display ads, Meta ads and engaging video animations, we produced assets that seamlessly complemented their vibrant social media visuals. By prominently featuring their distinctive brand yellow, we created visually uplifting designs that allowed key messages to pop, with each patient’s joyful ‘moment’ serving as the emotional heart of the campaign. We further streamlined the call-to-action on printed materials through clean, trackable QR codes, making it simple for supporters to engage and for EHAAT to measure campaign success.

In our copywriting approach, it was essential to keep the patient at the forefront while inspiring meaningful action from supporters. With compelling, longer patient stories available online, we made every word count, whether it was a letter from the patient, a postcard or a Facebook ad headline and description. Importantly, we brought all elements together, reflecting the unified effort of supporters, patients, and EHAAT’s crew. Ultimately, everyone shares one mission—to help the charity continue its vital operations, being there for patients and their loved ones in their most critical moments.
